¨ Visit Adopting.org for adoption assistance information, a U.S. map linked to each state's waiting children, profiles of waiting parents, search and reunion guides, a chat room, a bulletin board and a resources directory.                    

 

¨ The site Adoption.com offers an array of services for adoption as well as foster care.  

 

¨ The Child Welfare Information Gateway  connects professionals and concerned citizens to timely, essential information and resources targeted to the safety, permanency, and children and families.

 

¨ The Child Welfare League of America's National Data Analysis System ,NDAS , provides access to all states' child abuse and neglect data since 1990 and links to child welfare agency Web sites and other sources. CWLA's main site (www.cwla.org) also includes a bookstore with many titles related to child welfare.

¨ The National Resource Center for Youth Services, NRCYS, offers training, resources, publications and other support to those who are working with Child Welfare and Independent Living issues. Dorothy Ansell, the co-developer of the Ansell Casey Life Skills Assessment, is an Assistant Director of the Institute.
