Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer : A person who voluntarily undertakes a service or duty

 

We are always looking for people to volunteer their time and effort to continue the awareness of foster care and adoption.  You can be an adoptive parent or a foster parent, but you don’t have to be!   There are opportunities for everyone. 

 

Host an Awareness Booth

 

Are you involved with an organization, church, or school that host fairs or special events? If they do you have an awesome opportunity to volunteer! If you don’t have an any events we have many that we are invited to participate in that we need volunteers to for.  Volunteer to  host a booth to promote foster care and adoption awareness.  The best part is that we supply all that you need to host a booth. Be a Foster or Adoptive Parent Representative

 

Would you like to be the go to person for support and information in your county? All families whether they are foster or adoptive need a personal connection within their community. We are seeking volunteer to be county representatives in each of the 92 counties.  If we have more that one person/family volunteering in each county then we will use them all.  IFCAA would like to create and support a network of support families across the state who would help us to keep the pulse on each counties needs and issues.  Call 1-800-468-4228 or email akiste@ifcaa.org for more information.

 

Support New foster Families

 

IFCAA is seeking current foster families who would like to be a mentor to a newly licensed foster family for one year.  If you would like to know more about the Foster to Foster Mentor Program Click Here.
